New Vision Christian Fellowship is an urban church in San Diego, California. Our mission trips exist to help build the kingdom of God through partnership with local and national churches.

We invite you to participate in an urban mission trip where you can serve the urban poor in San Diego. 50% of the country lives in urban areas and 20% of them are children. Many of our urban areas are multicultural and bilingual. You no longer have to go to the mission field; the mission field has come to you.

The city speaks; it cries for redemption, hunger, hurt, homelessness, hopelessness, hate, pain, injustice, isolation, loneliness, who will respond to the cries.

In San Diego County there are 3 million people of the 3 million 1 million live in the city which contain over 10 thousand homeless of which 20% are women and children. Will you respond to the cries?

Our mission trip will include three level of ministry: mild, medium and Hot.

MILD:

The mild portion of the ministry will include service project with no contact or minimum contact with individual. It might be graffiti removal, home extreme makeovers, cleaning, painting murals and yard work and various jobs around the city.

MEDIUM:

The medium portion of the trip will include control contact with individuals. They might be feeding programs, food and raiment, schools, Vacation Bible schools, and sports programs.

HOT:

The hot portion of the trip will include one on one contact with individuals. This would be through street evangelism, back pack ministry to the homeless, drama on the street, block parties and special venues.
